Accessory dwelling unit (ADU)
Standard ADU/JADU plans VS Custom ADU/JADU Designs
There are two main types of ADUs: Standard ADUs and Custom ADUs.
Standard ADUs are pre-designed plans. These plans are typically less expensive and faster to build than custom ADUs.
Custom ADUs, on the other hand, are designed specifically for your property. While custom ADUs may be more expensive, they offer the advantage of being able to perfectly match your needs and preferences.
Which type of ADU is right for you? The answer depends on your budget, timeline, and specific needs.
If you are looking for a fast and affordable solution, a Standard ADU may be the right choice for you. However, if you want a more customized solution, a Custom ADU may be the better option.
No matter which type of ADU you choose, SNBM Design Studio can help you through the entire process, from feasibility studies to plan check submittals.
